The actions by the Trump administration to all but eliminate Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monuments is another attempt to liquidate lands Tribes and the American public hold dear.Â
Tribal Nations are the original stewards of the area, with ties to Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante stretching back thousands of years. We must support their vision to ensure these sacred cultural landscapes are protected.Â
On Saturday, October 17th, we'll have representatives in store to expand on conversations already taking place and hold space for questions and frustrations around this recent attack on our public lands.Â
